Man killed in East End shooting identified

Richmond police investigating after person shot

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The Richmond Police Department says a man died after a shooting Wednesday night in the 2100 block of Fairfield Avenue.

Police were called to the scene just after 8:15 p.m.

When police arrived, they found an adult man with a gunshot wound.

The victim later died from his injuries. He was identified as Trequan Hardy, 25, of Richmond.

This shooting came a day after three other shootings in Richmond in just a matter of a few hours. In one of those shootings, a 40-year-old Richmond man died.

Police have not yet released any information about any suspect, but said they believe several people were in the area at the time who may have information about the shooting.
