HENRICO, VA (WWBT) - A man is charged with reckless driving and failure to wear a seat belt after causing a six-vehicle crash along Interstate 295 in Henrico.
Virginia State Police were called to mile marker 44 along I-295 for a six-vehicle crash around 5:23 p.m. on Tuesday.
Troopers said in a release that “traffic was congested and slowing to a stop when a pickup truck struck another vehicle in the rear forcing that vehicle into the rear of another. This continued until the sixth vehicle sustained damage.”
The pick up truck driver, along with three other drivers, were taken to the hospital for serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police continue to investigate.
