CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WCAV/GRAY TV) - Rumors are flying, but there is no local confirmation yet about whether or not former Vice President Joe Biden will launch his 2020 presidential campaign in Charlottesville.

Actually, his campaign isn't officially confirmed either.

However, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports Biden is planning a run for the White House and sources tell the newspaper he will be launching that campaign in Charlottesville on Wednesday.

However, the Washington Examiner reports he will not be coming to the city, per Biden's spokesperson.

Local political party and city officials are not commenting.

The newspaper also reports Biden will launch the campaign in Virginia and then travel to Pittsburgh for a rally before ending his day in Philadelphia.
