RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - GRTC is operating on its snow route service until 9 p.m.

Customers are advised to prepare for service delays and detours on the bus systems' snow routes. The snow routes avoid streets that hazardous to navigate during severe weather.

Limited snow route and CARE service will resume at 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Pulse stations are being cleared of snow, but passengers should note the inclement conditions and plan accordingly. Median stations are being served on the curbside.

CARE and CARE On-Demand are operating with some delays. Customers may need to meet the vehicle at a location other than the drop-off point, if streets are too dangerous to navigate. Door-to-door service will not be performed if sidewalks have not been cleared.

UZURV will begin servicing scheduled trips at noon. Trips for Monday can be canceled with no penalty.

GRTC’s administrative office is closed Monday. Customers needing assistance should call (804) 358-GRTC from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Updates on service can be found on the GRTC Go app, the GRTC online bus tracker and on Twitter at @GRTCtransit.
