LEXINGTON, VA (WWBT) - Students at Washington and Lee University say a fire started outside the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity house around 4:30 a.m. Thursday and then moved inside.

Fifteen people inside the house were evacuated. One was being treated at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital for possible smoke inhalation.

Students say the fraternity had held a fire drill at the house the day before.

Washington and Lee is providing another place on campus for the displaced students to stay.
