RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - A Virginia man has been sentenced to 28 years in prison for charges stemming from an investigation into drug trafficking activities in the Richmond area.
Federal prosecutors say 37-year-old Christopher Dancy was sentenced on Friday. He was charged with conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 5 kilograms or more of cocaine hydrochloride.
In addition to his prison time, Dancy was ordered to forfeit $1.3 million, as well as five automobiles, four trailers, five motorcycles, and five real properties.
Authorities say Dancy admitted to having sold more than 150 kilograms of cocaine between January 2006 and March 2008.
