Richmond, VA (NBC 12) - From Ashland to Emporia and several places in between, 27 critical violations in tonight's Restaurant Report.

Topping tonight's critical list, Shoney's (5310 Oaklawn Boulevard) in Hopewell with 8 critical violations. An inspector found several raw meats stored improperly, including raw chicken over raw fish and meats stored over ready-to-eat foods.

Moving on to Colonial Heights & Golden Corral (2501 Conduit Avenue) with 5 critical. Among them, sausage patties held at improper temperatures.

Applebee's (105 Sadler Lane) in Emporia also makes tonight's list with 4 critical violations, including food employees observed working in the kitchen with soiled hands and arms.

In Henrico, Osaka Sushi (5023 Huguenot Road) is next with 5 critical. An inspector observed used gloves on the sushi bar to be reused and also cited the restaurant for using fresh fish that did not meet frozen sushi regulations. A follow up shows the problems have been corrected.

And finally tonight, China Wok (107 Hill Carter Parkway) in Ashland with 5 critical violations. Among them, mold found growing on a drink machine nozzle.

Now for tonight's Hall of Fame. This week's award goes to: The Camel Restaurant (1621 West Broad Street) in Richmond for a near-perfect health record, including a perfect inspection January 22nd.
