Police seek suspects in overnight shooting, stabbing

RICHMOND, VA (NBC12) - Richmond Police responded to two separate incidents Saturday morning that sent two men to the hospital.

The first happened around 1:40 a.m. at El Quetzal on Broad Rock Blvd.

Police say a man was stabbed after an argument at the latino restaurant.

The victim was taken by a friend to Bon Secours St. Francis Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The second incident happened at the New York Fried Chicken on W. Broad St.

Police say around 3:30 this morning a fight broke out at the restaurant.

When officers arrived they found one man shot in the leg.

The victim was taken to VCU Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

Police have not made an arrest in either incident and ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
