Police make arrests in two attempted commercial burglaries

HENRICO, VA (NBC12) - Henrico Police arrested two men Saturday morning for allegedly breaking into two businesses.

Police say around 12:45 a security alarm brought them out to the Honda House on W. Broad St.

When officers arrived two suspects were seen fleeing the scene.

Police say the two were after a motorized scooter that was on display outside the business.

Less than an hour later, a Henrico officer observed two men breaking the window out of the Tire Max on Brook Rd.

When the suspects attempted to wheel out an ATV from the store the officer confronted and arrested the men.

Police believe the two attempted burglaries are connected.

The identity of the two suspects has not been released.

Police say they face numerous charges including breaking and entering and grand larceny.
