Chesterfield firefighters respond to two overnight fires

CHESTERFIELD, VA (NBC12) - Chesterfield investigators are looking into two overnight fires.

The first was reported at a maintenance facility at Harry Daniel Park off White Pine Road around 4:30 Saturday morning.

The fire was put out relatively quickly.

No word yet on a cause.

Shortly afterwards another fire was reported at the Captain D's in the 1200 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.

Firefighters say some paper cups caught on fire.

The fire was not major but protocol requires state health officials investigate.
