NEWPORT NEWS, VA (WWBT) - Lawyers for former Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick wereback in a Virginia courtroom Friday for a hearing on the football star's bankruptcy case.
Friday's proceedings in Newport News will focus on a revised disclosure of Vick's finances. Last month, a judge in Richmond ruled the first statement was insufficient.
The court is also expected to consider issues related to the sale of some of Vick's cars, boats and a house that he wants to sell at auction.
Vick is currently serving part of a 23-month federal sentence in connection with a dog fighting ring. His lawyers say he could soon be transferred to a halfway house.
