Man convicted of killing store employees to request new trial

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - A man convicted of robbing a grocery store and killing two people will head back to court Thursday requesting a new trial or to have his case thrown out.

William Thomas Wallace was found guilty of first degree murder last February.

In 1990, Wallace and two of his brothers robbed the Iron Gate Food Lion, in Chesterfield County.

A judge determined that Wallace shot and killed two store employees execution-style during that robbery.
