RICHMOND, VA (NBC12) - The person of interest in the suspicious apartment fire has been arrested.  Kayla Camille Armstrong, 25, was arrested Wednesday night without inicident.  She has been charged with assault and vandalism.

The fire broke out just before 7 a.m. Wednesday in a two-story apartment just off Crenshaw Avenue.  As fire crews knocked down flames, they found one woman dead inside.

The victim has been identified as 26-year-old Keiona Braxton.

"We know there's significant fire damage to the upstairs, very limited fire damage downstairs," Henrico Fire Capt. Chris Buehren says.

An accelerant dog from Chesterfield was brought in. But, investigators say it's too early to say if the fire is a cover-up.

Capt. Buehren says, "We're still putting the pieces of the puzzle together but we don't want to leave any stone unturned."
