We have a Consumer Alert for anyone who shopped at Macy's on the Saturday before Christmas and paid with a debit card. You may have been billed twice.
Macy's says a system error affected stores in several states in their Central and East divisions. The glitch happened Saturday, December 20th from one to 2:45 in the afternoon.
If this happened to you, you will need your bank statements to verify the overcharges. Fax that statement to 513-573-2433 and label the fax, "Attention: Third Party Credit."
Macy's will make sure the extra charges are removed.
