Police shutdown Courthouse road to investigate accident

CHESTERFIELD, VA (NBC12) - In Chesterfield, four people recovering this morning after a serious crash on Courthouse Road.

It happened just before 6:30 Friday night, near the Powhite.

Police say one car pulled out in front of another.

Two people suffered life threatening injuries.

Two others were treated for minor injuries.

Authorities shut down Courthouse Road, for hours last night, while they investigated.

Charges have yet to be filed.
