Presentation of deer at state capitol

From NBC12 News

RICHMOND, VA (NBC12) - Governor Tim Kaine and Senator Jim Webb hosted Virginia indian tribes this morning at the state capitol.

The tribes deliver wild game and gifts in lieu of taxes to the state capitol.

The annual tradition dates back to 1646, when an agreement was signed allowing the indians to give the colonial government fresh game in tribute.
