VUU searching for new president; Anderson resigns

RICHMOND, VA (NBC12) - Virginia Union University is looking for a new president.  
 
The current president, Dr. Belinda Anderson, announced Thursday that she plans to leave to pursue new opportunities, and make way for the university to meet new challenges. 

Dr. Anderson was appointed union's president in 2004, becoming the first female to serve in that role in the school's 141 history.
