Police are looking for suspects after a person was shot and wounded during a party. It happened early Sunday morning on Clovertree Court off Providence Road.

When police arrived, they found a party, shattered glass, and blood in the road. But, no one still at the house was injured.

Directly across the street from the party, they found at least two bullet holes in a townhouse.
Police believe they came from the shots fired. Fortunately, no one inside got hurt. But, residents say that doesn't make it any less scary.

More pieces of the puzzle fell into place when a 28-year-old man came to a gas station, went inside the store, and asked employees to call 9-1-1 because he had a gunshot wound to his leg.

Police say he was earlier on Clovertree Court, which is just a few miles away. That man was taken to Chippenham Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Back on Clovertree Court, residents say they were surprised by the violence that occurred. NBC12 is told it's a pretty quiet neighborhood.

But, no one we spoke with was happy to hear about a shooting so close to home.

If you have any information, please call Chesterfield Police.
