Vandals hit car dealership in Chesterfield

Chesterfield Police say vandals caused thousands of dollars in damage at a car dealership. It happened overnight Saturday at Haley Toyota, 3600 Lonas Parkway, in Midlothian. 

The sales manager says 65 new and used cars and SUV's were damaged. Police say the majority of the tail lights had been smashed. Some were also paint-keyed. Employees discovered it after 10 a.m. May 31st.

Damage is estimated to be about $40,000.
Carey Gillespie of Haley Toyota says, "To me it looks like a ball pin hammer just a small ball pin hammer where they just punched it punched it punched it right on down."

Repairs could take about a week.
