(WWBT) - Beer is the most popular Super Bowl "snack" in Virginia, according to Under Armor.
Employees at Under Armor examined what "snack" people logged last year on game day by tapping into the Under Armor Connected Fitness community, which has over 220 million users.
Beer was one of the top five "snacks" across the country. The other popular snacks include strawberries, chips, popcorn, and chocolate chip cookies.
Other than Virginia, beer took the top spot in Washington, D.C., Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Minnesota, Montana, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming.
Last year, Under Armor community members logged 10,525 servings of beer, which equals to 99 10-gallon sports drink coolers.
Beer was also the top drink of choice, according to the data. Other drinks included vodka, wine, and coffee. Under Armor community members drank 3,117 cups of coffee, which is enough to wake up 59 NFL teams.
Girl Scout cookies were also a hit in some states. Thin Mints were popular in Arizona and Indiana, while Samoas took the top spot in South Dakota.
In addition, Google released their list of most popular recipes for each state. Buffalo chicken dip took the top spot in Virginia.
