OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) - Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco threw to some of his new wide receivers and tight ends at a public park near the team's practice facility. Even though training camp was more than a week away, the Ravens were eager to get back to work. A group of local kids playing pickup football eagerly approached the players, which added to the excitement of the upcoming season.

ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) - The Washington Capitals have re-signed defenseman Madison Bowey to a two-year deal worth $2 million. Right winger Tom Wilson is the team's only remaining restricted free agent. Bowey, who will count $1 million against the salary cap in each of the next two seasons, he averaged almost 14 minutes and recorded 12 assists in 51 regualr-season games.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - Elizabeth Cambage had 35 points and 17 rebounds, breaking the WNBA's two-game scoring record, and the Dallas Wings beat the Washington Mystics 90-81. Coming off a historic 53-point performance Tuesday, Cambage broke Minnesota star Maya Moore's record two-game total of 80 points set in 2014. Cambage also became the first player with back-to-back 30-point, 10-rebound games since Moore in 2014.
