POWHATAN, VA (WWBT) -

A fire on the set of the AMC television series "Turn: Washington's Spies" is currently under investigation in Powhatan.

The fire occurred about a couple of miles west of the Virginia Department of Corrections around 5 a.m. Wednesday.

The Department of Corrections says the film crew had wrapped up filming late Tuesday at that specific set and that no one was injured.

The series is still being filmed at another location nearby.

The set had previously been used by films such as "Lincoln" and the "John Adams" miniseries.

Powhatan Fire is working with the state fire to figure out what caused the blaze.
