FREDERICKSBURG, VA (WWBT) - Human remains found over the weekend in Fredericksburg have been identified as a missing 32-year-old woman.
Police say someone who was relic hunting found what appeared to be human remains on Saturday around 6:30 p.m. in the city.
The Medical Examiner's Office in Richmond confirmed Tuesday that the remains were Rochelle Simms, of Fredericksburg.
Simms had been reported missing in October.
Police say the cause of death is currently unknown and an investigation is ongoing.
