Virginia State Police tell us two people are hurt, after a small plane crash at the Culpeper Regional Airport. It happened around 1:40 p.m. Saturday. Police say the 1949 North American T6G, fixed-wing, single-engine, two-seater aircraft, was attempting to land at the airport, when it ran off the side of the runway and overturned. There were two occupants in the plane at the time of the crash. Both the pilot, Daniel Allen Haug, and the passenger, John Reed Reavis Jr., were taken to the hospital. Virginia State Police, along with and FAA are investigating, to find out what lead to the crash.
