2017 Summer Adventure Expo Set for Sunday, April 2nd

Seventh Annual Camp Fair to be held at Peak Experiences Climbing Center

Richmond, VA— Summer camps from the Richmond area and beyond are set to provide area families with all the information they need to plan their kids’ summer adventures.

Richmond Family Magazine (RFM) and Peak Experiences Indoor Climbing are partnering to bring families the 2017 RFM Summer Adventure Expo, Sunday, April 2, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., indoors and outdoors at Peak Experiences in Midlothian, at 11421 Polo Circle, behind The Shoppes at Bellgrade.

“We have been amazed by the turnout each year since the Expo began,” says RFM publisher Margaret Thompson. “Parents love having just one destination to get all of the information they need to plan their kids’ summer activities, and the kids absolutely love the fun and games, especially climbing the rock walls at Peak Experiences.”

The Expo includes a free climb for the kids and interactive games and activities from the camp exhibitors.

“It is such a fun day for kids, and parents can learn about summer opportunities in sports, outdoor adventure, music, and more from area camps and businesses,” Thompson says.

The event is rain-or-shine and free for families. Lunch will be available for purchase from local food truck The Boardwalk, with sweet treats for sale from the Gelati Celesti truck. Door prizes will be up for grabs, and goodie bags will be handed out to the first 200 families. Peak Experiences Indoor Climbing is
located near Robious Road and Huguenot Road, behind The Shoppes at Bellgrade, at 11421 Polo Circle in Midlothian. Camps can register to exhibit by contacting margaret@rfmonline.com.
