We're going to talk about why we don't want to leave our baseball equipment in the car.
As the temperature starts to drop, the walls of the bat get to be a little bit weaker, so when you hit the baseball, we're more apt to have denting and cracking.
It's the same reason why we don't want to leave our gloves out there during the summer time. The heat turns the car into the oven and it will bake the leather and dry it out.
As much as possible, let's try to keep the equipment inside the house. That's not always the case on travel tournaments. If we do that, make sure to condition the glove.
