Gun displayed during dispute at Henrico store

Henrico police are searching for a suspect who pulled a gun at a convenience store after someone spit on her face.

Officers say an argument broke out on Saturday night at a store in the 5600 block of Chamberlayne Road after a customer was asked to present his or her identification after he or she requested to buy cigarettes.

The customer then returned to his or her car. A woman, who was a passenger in the car, reportedly came into the store and began arguing with the victim, spit on her face, and threatened to shoot the victim, according to police.

The victim told police that the woman went back to the car. However, when the victim followed her to the car, it was reported that the woman displayed a black handgun.

The victim and the woman went back into the store. However, officers say two witnesses broke up the fight, and the suspects left the store.
