RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - If you're looking to make plans for New Year's Eve with, or without, the kids we have you covered.
We're checking in with our local mom bloggers for some of the best ideas to celebrate the start of a New Year.
Don't want to keep the kids up late? You don't have to. Consider going to the Science Museum of Virginia. They'll ring in "noon" – with a bouncy ball drop and apple juice toast.
There's a noon year's eve bash at the Children's museum, too. The event will have special presentations about clocks and time- there will also be a parade and juice box toast.
Lewis Ginter will host a later afternoon party.
There are also events at Monkey Joe's and some area libraries.
And if you have older kids- you might look at events at your local skating rinks- Chester Skate Land and the Rink at West Broad Village are hosting events.
And if you're ditching the kids this year- we have a list for that as well. Check out 12 About Town.
