RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Christmas is just days away, and homeless families living in transitional housing need a little help from you.

Please consider donating to Home Again, a shelter that helps homeless families get back on their feet. They will gladly take your donations of new, unwrapped toys and blankets, sheets, coats, diapers, any household items.

You can drop them off between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday this week at:

Professional Moving and Storage
2209 Station Rd, Richmond, Va.
804-291-3543.

The company owner, Andre Neita, has been helping families who have fallen on hard times for more than a decade. Neita will deliver your donations to "Home Again" in time for Christmas.

"Homelessness is a traumatic experience," says Home Again Executive Director Lorae Ponder. "Add the stress of the holidays, and it’s hard for families. We try to relieve as much of that stress as we can by helping with gifts and toys and clothing and housing items people will need when they move out of the shelter."

Again, you can drop of donations to help homeless children and their families through Thursday of this week at Professional Moving and Storage between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. this week.
