The Bison now have beaten Richmond three straight times and have evened the all-time series at three wins apiece. T.J. Cline, who came in averaging better than 18 points per game, scored 22 points and Khwan Fore added another 19 for Richmond (4-3), which entered the game after a 67-54 win over Boston College.
Richmond kept it relatively close for most of the game, but the Bison took the lead for good with a little more than eight minutes remaining in the first half. The Spiders out-rebounded Bucknell, 45-37.
The Spiders return home on Saturday for a match-up with Wake Forest at 12:00pm.
