Quinnipiac University released their presidential poll numbers Monday showing Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump in a dead heat.
The poll shows Clinton at 44 percent, Trump at 43 percent, Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson at eight percent, and Green Party Jill Stein at two percent.
"This compares to a 41 – 39 percent Clinton lead among likely voters, with Johnson at 13 percent and Stein at 4 percent, in a September 14 survey by the independent Quinnipiac University," the press release said.
In a head-to-head matchup, Clinton gets 47 percent to Trump’s 46 percent.
According to the poll, 41 percent of Americans say that Clinton will win Monday night's debate, compared to 32 percent saying Donald Trump will win.
Eighty-four percent of the voters say they plan on watching the highly anticipated debate.
