Fast food manager charged with sex crimes in Colonial Heights

COLONIAL HEIGHTS, VA (WWBT) - Colonial Heights Police say they have arrested a fast food manager for multiple sex crimes.

Joseph Ateaf Habib faces three counts of sexual battery and one count of object sexual penetration.

The 33-year-old Henrico man was a manager at KnockOut Burgers in Southpark Mall, where police say the crimes occurred.

"I think it's sick," said shopper Reese Jones. "It's just ridiculous. You don't go around doing that."

Jones was shocked to learn the alleged crimes happened on the job.

"Just to think that, while I'm sitting there eating my cheeseburger, that somebody is back there getting raped or something. That's crazy. Yeah," said Jones.

Police say there were multiple victims and believe there may be more.

"We are concerned here at the police department that there are possibly potentially other victims for this crime from this suspect," said Sgt. Renee Walters. "We are hoping that if there are other victims that they will see this story and see the press release and come forward and give us a call."

"I know one thing. I'm just going to stick with McDonald's or something man. Wow," said Jones.
