Woman uses Snapchat to chronicle special last day with her dog

(WWBT) -

The special bond between a family and their dog is captured as a woman shared a series of Snapchats with the world titled “Dogs are too amazing to let go, but sometimes it happens and they will forgive you,” chronicling her last day with her dying dog named Hannah.

According to the Daily Mail, the owner said Hannah’s quality of life had deteriorated considerably.

“The stairs are hard. The hills are mountains. The pills don't work,” the pet owner wrote over the photo.

Hannah’s owner said she knows her dog “is tired,” saying if the difficult decision to put Hannah down must be made, “let’s make the last day the best one.”

While the Daily Mail said it’s unknown when or where the photos were taken, the photos captured special moments between Hannah and her family, enjoying her final meal, being pampered like the special dog she is, before being taken to the veterinarian clinic, captured in one emotional photo of her owner hugging Hannah tightly.

The photos come on the heels of National Dog Day Friday, showing just how strong the connection between a family and their dog truly is.
