(WWBT) - A wanted Hyannis, Mass. man who had been on the run from authorities since April was captured Thursday in connection with drug trafficking charges.
31-year-old Shaun Miller was one of several people indicted on charges of possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, according to the United States Department of Justice in a statement.
When police went to arrest Miller at a residence in the community of South Yarmouth, Mass., police said that Miller eventually exited the home dressed as an elderly man.
Once officers were able to remove the disguise, Miller was taken into custody. A search of the house Miller was found in yielded a stash of loaded weapons hidden in a laundry basket and nearly $30,000 in cash.
According to the Justice Department, Miller was detained pending a detention hearing in U.S. District Court in Boston scheduled for Aug. 31.
