(WWBT) - Did you miss the springtime rite of passage where millions of people walk into 7-Eleven stores with various containers to enjoy a delicious Slurpee?
You're in luck, because it's coming back this weekend, giving you a second chance to fill up that coffee pot or margarita glass!
On Friday, August 19 and Saturday, August 20 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. nationwide, 7-Eleven stores will host the Bring Your Own Cup Day, where you can fill up your container of choice for a $1.50.
Now, before you bring a wheel barrel into your local 7-Eleven, the company said there are a few rules to keep in mind during the two-day event.
To start, the cup must fit upright through a 10-inch hole, so leave the inflatable swimming pool or picnic cooler at home.
The cup must be clean and watertight, free of leaks, and it's one cup per person for the two-day special event.
The entire event is being hosted for a second time in honor of the 50th anniversary of the icy beverage. Bring Your Own Cup Day happened earlier this year in late March.
