Minutes after Democratic vice presidential nominee Sen. Tim Kaine delivered his speech before the party's national convention Wednesday night, it was announced that Kaine will be coming back to Richmond next week for "homecoming rally."
On Monday, Aug. 1, Kaine will return to Richmond for a campaign rally following a three-day bus tour across Pennsylvania and Ohio with Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
"At the public event, Kaine will discuss his and Clinton's vision for an America that is stronger together, with an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top," the campaign said in a statement Wednesday evening.
The venue for the Monday event has not been revealed.
