MIDDLESEX, VA (WWBT) - Virginia State Police say three children in Middlesex County have been found safe after an alert was issued Monday night. They are now in police custody.

Police were looking for six-month-old Daisy Foster, 18-month-old Lily Foster, and six-year-old Branson Horton. The children were believed to be "endangered," according to police.

The children were last seen at 2737 Greys Point Road, Topping, Virginia 23169.

The children were said to be in the company of their parents Brittni Martin and Jesse Foster. There is a court order from Middlesex  court to remove the children from their parents' custody, according to State Police.

There is no word yet on how or when exactly the children were found overnight or whether their parents face any charges.
