RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The Redskins went defense Friday night at the draft, selecting USC safety Su'a Cravens and Virginia Tech cornerback Kendall Fuller.
Cravens was chosen with the team's second round pick, No. 53 overall. He can play safety and linebacker and said during a conference call Friday night with reporters that the team wants him to play right away in their dime packages.
Fuller was a standout cornerback with the Hokies before injuring his knee last fall. He played just three games with Virginia Tech as a senior. Washington took Fuller with the 84th overall pick in the third round.
The draft concludes Saturday with rounds four through seven.
