CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - Every Wednesday at 10 a.m., a special fellowship takes place at Chesterfield's Clover Hill Baptist Church.
Members of the church's Open Hearts Ministry gather for their global goodwill projects. They make everything from hats to blankets, quilts, sleeping mats, scarves and dresses. Their mission is to help the poor, sick, homeless and hurting throughout the county, state, country and on several continents.
Members spend their own money and provide their own supplies. We join some of their biggest supporters for a $300 "Acts of Kindness" surprise.
