(CNN) - Wegman's, a chain based in Rochester, NY, was named the favorite grocery store among thousands of surveyed shoppers.
Walmart, the largest grocer in the U.S., came in last out of the 15 grocers on the list.
That's according to more than 10,000 shoppers who voiced their opinion in a Market Force information study. Wegman's, with stores in six northeastern states, didn't even make the top 15 last year.
Publix Super Markets came in second, followed by Trader Joe's. It's the first time in four years Trader Joe's didn't come out on top.
Hy-Vee food stores ranked fourth this year, and ALDI was fifth.
Customers said Publix had the best items in stock, and ALDI had the best prices. Trader Joe's ranked first for cashier courtesy.
