CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -

A Chesterfield mother and daughter, who haven't been seen since Thursday night, were found in New Cumberland, PA.

Police just confirmed that C'ere Lewis and 9-year-old Sesha Hill were found safely.

Their family was worried and said it was highly unusual that Lewis took off. Family members say Lewis would never let Sesha miss school.

Police said Lewis and Sesha were last seen leaving their home in the 4300 block of Sharonridge Drive shortly after 7:15 p.m. Thursday night. The family said Lewis was on her way to Sesha's dance class about five miles away off of Hull Street Road. Shortly before midnight, the family called police when the two didn't return home.

Lewis' father became emotional when he said Sesha's younger brother is wondering where his mother and sister are. "When he got out of bed, [he was wondering] where was his mommy and Sesha [were]," he said.  "I really love my daughter and granddaughter. I'm a family person. For whoever is out there who is family, people, please if you see them or know anything about their whereabouts, let us know."

Police said they were last seen in a four-door, silver 1993 Toyota Corolla with Virginia license plates XTM-7606.
