RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Richmond Public Schools sent a notice Thursday to parents after a 4th grader brought a knife to an elementary school.
The letter says the Department of Safety and Security conducted an investigation and disciplinary action was taken.
"I felt it was necessary to inform all parents about this incident. I also want to assure you that the safety of all our students is our number one priority," wrote Principal Crews.
