Student struck by vehicle at King William High School

KING WILLIAM, VA (WWBT) - A high school student was hit by a vehicle at King William High School on Thursday afternoon, according to Virginia State Police.
The 14-year-old boy was hit around 3:20 p.m. at the entrance to the school, investigators said. Police say the boy ran across the street and was hit by a 16-year-old girl driving a Ford F-150. The boy was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital with minor injuries.
