No injuries after fire at dog training business in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -

Crews responded to a fire at a dog training business in Chesterfield on Thursday.

The fire started at Tori's K9 Adventures, in the 3900 block of Bellson Park Drive, east of 288 and Hull Street Road. Crews say a bathroom exhaust fan caused the fire.

Windy conditions caused the fire to spread and made it difficult for crews to put the fire out.

Eight employees and 48 dogs were in a second building separate from where the fire started. All employees and dogs at the business were able to escape the fire safely.
