I hope that all of you had a great Thanksgiving Day and that you are enjoying your Thanksgiving weekend.
Thanksgiving Day reminds us all to that we should take a moment to think about the things we should be thankful for and to also remember to actually say thank you to those who add value to our lives.
There will always be local, national and world events that that cause us to feel angry about how some fellow human beings treat each other personally and globally.
I believe that we should wake up each and every day and start our day by contemplating, at least for a moment, what we are thankful for that day. I also feel that it brings "truth to power" when we make it a goal to be intentional about saying thank you to someone each and every day for something they have done in the past or the present.
This week, I had the opportunity to visit with the students at Oak Grove-Bellemeade Elementary School, and I want to say thank you to the students and the educators for such a rewarding experience.
It is clear that the students and the teachers at Oak Grove-Bellemeade are thankful for the adults who volunteered their time to make an "adult impression" during Career Day.
