Robber draws gun in Forest Hill Martin's parking lot, still at large

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - During the lunchtime rush of customers shopping on Forest Hill Avenue, a robber took out a gun and confronted a Martin's employee Sunday afternoon.

Richmond Police confirmed a man was collecting grocery carts in the store's parking lot, when the suspect took out a handgun and pointed it at the employee.

The robber took $20 and quickly left the area. Police reported no direction of his escape, with Richmond Emergency Dispatch receiving the 911 call at 1:10 p.m.

The suspect is described as a thin man in his 20's, with a small tattoo under his right eye. Police said the victim was not physically harmed during the incident.
