SPOTSYLVANIA, VA (WWBT) - Crews are investigating after two people died from an early morning house fire in Spotsylvania County.
The call came in around 2:18 a.m. from the 11700 block of Post Oak Road. Five fire stations dispatched crews to the house fire.
The first crew arrived around 2:27 a.m. and found the house "well-involved in fire."
Two victims were pulled from the house. One died at the hospital, the other died at the scene. A firefighter was treated at the scene for minor burn injuries.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
