The top five teams stayed the same in this week's poll but there was plenty of movement in the bottom half thanks to a big win from Lee-Davis and a big loss by Hanover:

1) L.C. Bird (6-0)- The Skyhawks held the top spot with a bye last week. (Last week- #1; @Cosby, 9/16)

2) Hermitage (6-0)- The Panthers had little trouble with Deep Run on Friday. (Last week- #2; @ Manchester)

3) Highland Springs (5-1)- The Springers dominated Hanover in our game of the week. (Last week- #3; @ Lee-Davis)

4) Benedictine (5-0)- The Cadets got a hard-fought victory at Georgetown Prep (Last week- #4; @ vs. Bishop Ireton)

5) Thomas Dale (5-1)- The Knights handled Dinwiddie in a Saturday contest (Last week- #5; at Petersburg)

6) Lee-Davis (6-0)- The Confederates spoiled Atlee's 25th anniversary celebration Saturday to stay unbeaten.  They move up four spots in this week's poll. (Last week- #10; vs. Highland Springs)

7) Henrico (5-1)- The Warriors shutout Armstrong on Friday. (Last week- #9; vs. Atlee)

8) Douglas Freeman (6-0)- The dropped a spot in the poll despite beating Glen Allen 40-7 Friday (Last week- #7; vs. JR Tucker)

9) Monacan (6-1)- The Chiefs also fell one spot in this week's poll after beating James River Friday. (Last week- #8; vs. George Wythe)

10) Matoaca (5-1)- Matoaca moved up one spot with an impressive win over Petersburg. (Last week- #11; vs. Meadowbrook)

11) Manchester (5-1)- The Chiefs moved up one spot thanks to a shutout win over Midlothian. (Last week- #12; vs. Hermitage)

12) Hanover (4-2)- The Hawks had the biggest drop in this week's poll, falling from #6 to #12.  A 45-0 loss to Highland Springs was the reason. (Last week- #6; at Varina)
