The two candidates for the Ashland District Hanover County Supervisor's seat faced off at a Candidate Forum at Patrick Henry High School on Thursday night.
The candidates are Ashland Town Councilwoman and former Mayor Faye Prichard, and Web Stokes, a business man and former law enforcement officer in Charlottesville and Stafford County.
They discussed some of the top issues facing Hanover, such as funding for schools and teachers, whether to reinstate cash proffers on new development, and public safety.
The Forum was sponsored by Friends of Hanover Schools, The Coalition for Hanover's Future, and the Herald-Progress. NBC12's Heather Sullivan served as moderator.
