4 arrested in Chesterfield gun store burglary

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -

Chesterfield Police, working with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, have four people in custody following the theft of multiple firearms from a gun store on Friday morning.

Police arrested: Deshawn Shields, 19; Endyia Washington, 25; Mariah V. Walker, 22; and Xavier S. Greene, 20. A fifth person has been identified and police are questioning her, but she has not been charged at this time.

The burglary happened at Southern Police Equipment in the 7600 block of Midlothian Turnpike. Police said two male suspects were seen on surveillance video at the gun store, and three female suspects connected to the theft were seen on surveillance video at a convenience store.
